Recognizing the emergence of the cinematic genre to the fashion world, FFF will feature productions from both established and emerging fashion designers/labels and film makers, using the film short as both an expression of art and as a way to introduce collections to the marketplace and the talent of both the designers and film makers
More than just a celebration of fashion in film, the festival encourages critical response to its content, and addresses current practices in the context of film making. Dedicated to promoting new ideas and experimentation, FFF also commissions new work in contemporary “fashion-Art movement”, bringing together artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers, performers and musicians
Drawing on a rich film history and a wide variety of genres, from feature and documentary film to artist video, animation shorts and newsreels, FFF presents a mix of popular culture, art and the underground which shows how the moving image has represented and interpreted fashion as a concept, an industry and a cultural form.
The FFF is designed to showcase the best in fashion films within the context of their creators. From emerging film makers who has great potentials and needed a venue to showcase their talents to a bigger audience.
FFF represent the classics and cutting-edge, minimalist and avant garde, the tense plots and art-based, the erotic and sobering, and, many more that defy definition.
Shangri-la Plaza Mall Cinema will be the perfect venue to showcase these fashion films
Fashion cinema is revolutionizing fashion marketing, and FFF is at the cutting edge of it. It combines cinema, social media, and fashion into one of the country's premiere digital fashion events. Ultimately, the goal is to go beyond previous digital barriers and limitations to create new digital distribution channels, networks and markets for the benefit of both the designers, film makers and consumers
